Quick service, inexpensive varied menu, and tasty Mexican food - everything to love! I had a great enchilada lunch special with refried beans and rice, mmmm!

I was craving a double meat, green chili, cheese burger, so that's what I ordered. Yes, I know this is a Mexican restaurant and their Mexican food IS amazing but this is what I was craving.The burger was PERFECT! Very flavorful but not too spicy. The waitress was the person who recommended the burger. She was friendly and the service was awesome. The entire meal was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Love this little local hole in the wall. No frills, usually packed for lunch. The staff is quick on their feet and the food comes out fast and flavorful. Prices are reasonable. This is a staple during weekly lunches.

They have great Tacos El Pastor and quesadillia burgers. Their French fries are home made and fresh! The staff is also very friendly.

Breakfast burrito, tortilla was cold and sausage in it was cut up breakfast sausage links. It was strange. Relleno didn't have anything in the pepper. Pancakes were good though.

Salsa in name only - tomato water, mild seasonings and who puts egg in a carna asada burrito. If that's your style, need to say that in the menu or my wife's order was wrong. Choice of fouls on that one.

Good food and lots of room to sit.

Green chicken enchilada plate didn't have much flavor or spiciness. Whole beans were on the line of being spoiled... the beans will probably be earmarked to get refried. The rice was still a bit hard and most likely not cooked entirely. Maybe just a bad day for the cook?

Absolutely the best Authentic Mexican food we have ever had. My parents moved to Alamogordo in 2017 and they found this restaurant and gained a family at Christ Community Church!I ordered Carne Asada Tacos and my husband ordered the Grilled Fish Tacos. They were so delicious, my husband burnt his mouth eating them because he couldn't stop! The restaurant had no issue welcoming my Service Dog Blanca the Giant Schnauzer and seating us in the enormous conference area in the back. What a blessing, thank you!

OMG I wish I had found this place sooner! Lost behind Albertsons, look for the marque on Mechem for fabulous traditional Mexican food. Serving a great breakfast menu and daily lunch specials. Don't miss this little hidden jewel.

Local favorite for lunch. This place is off the main drag and is set back so if you did know where to go you may just miss out. Mexican food at it's best. Moderate prices so it won't break the bank. Open for dinner too.

I’ve been here multiple times for breakfast and lunch. Both were good. Standard egg, hash brown breakfast. Enchiladas were good. I tend to judge a Mexican restaurant by their chips and salsa for some reason lol. Seems if that’s good then the food will be. This place tricked me. Salsa is good and fresh but COLD chips. Boo. It’s why I deducted a star.

This joint is definitely a locals kind of place. If you’re looking for simple but well executed breakfast and lunch, this is the spot. Good tortilla, crispy potatoes and a nicely prepared omelette on my visit today. My companion had the pancake breakfast and enjoyed it as well. Very friendly staff that make you feel at home.

My 2nd time enjoying delicious tasteful food from here. I have lived in Ruidoso for 2 years now and FINALLY found my Mexican Restaurant. The few other places I have been were very bland and not so filling. The beef enchiladas w melted cheese, the sauce, the spices, the taste, the rice will not leave you disappointed. Never a bad stomach ache later either. Great job guys!!!

El Paraiso Is my favorite stop for Mexican food. I dine at El Paraiso at least once a month, and everything I have ordered over the last several years has been delicious. I particularly like the breakfast skillets; the one I usually order (which I don't remember the name of), has scrambled eggs, tomato, green chilies, two kinds of cheese, bacon, and potatoes. I love it with some of their homemade salsa on top. Their Chile Rellenos are very good as well. They also serve a smothered burrito that is one of my all-time favorites when it comes to burritos. Delicious! The only disappointment is that they are only open for breakfast and lunch.

The food it's the grossest I ever tasted in my life. The green sauce tastes like can sauce. The tostatadas looked old. Only good thing was the coffee. My friends thought the same never again I will be back.

Food was good, when it eventually was corrected. Ordered very basic meals, 4 in total and none of them were correct on the first pass. Bacon cheeseburger for the 9 yr old comes without bacon, burrito came without the smother and sides of beans and rice, other burrito comes without smother. My plate, tamale and enchilada came out as relleno and enchilada. Luckily, the chips were good, salsa was more like a salad, but the food was good once we actually could eat.
